Come Talk with Other Democrats in Union Vale    

Come to Union Vale Democratic Committee meetings. They are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00. You’ll get to know other Union Vale residents interested in local issues. You’ll learn more about our town and county governments and the issues they face.

The monthly meetings are being held via Zoom and in person.   If you want to join us, please email the committee for more information.

We have planned a Meet and Greet with local candidates on June 9, 2:00- 4:00 at Heidi and Mike Tucci’s house. Weather permitting we will be outside. It is a fun way to meet fellow Dems and learn about the candidates.

Volunteer and Campaign 

 Supporting our community is important to us. Plans are underway to collect personal supplies for the Food Bank at Trinity United Methodist Church, clean a local road, and volunteer at local events. See the Events page for times and places. We also actively campaign for local, state and national candidates.

Running for Office

We are always looking for people to run for the following local offices.

The next local election is 2024. There will be an election for one Town Council member. Councilman Cartalemi was appointed to replace Councilman Gusikoff, until an election is held in November, 2024.

  • Supervisor – 2 Years
  • 2 Town Council members – 4 Years
  • Highway Superintendent – 2 Years
  • Town Justice – 4 Years
  • Town Clerk – 2 Years
  • Tax Collector – 2 Years

Each position comes with salary and some benefits.
