IMPORTANT DATES:
October 21 – LAST day for Board of Elections to receive “Change of Address” and
“Absentee Ballot” requests.
October 26 – LAST day for Board of Elections to receive applications for voter registration.
October 26 – EARLY VOTING BEGINS! (See Below)
November 5 – ELECTION DAY (Union Vale Firehouse – 3373, Rte. 82 – near Iron Furnace)
HOW TO Get an ABSENTEE BALLOT
-It takes 5 minutes to request a ballot online.
-Go to elections.dutchessny.gov and click on “Voter” drop down menu
-You will need the voter’s first/last name, date of birth, zip code and mailing address.
Don’t Forget to Flip Your Ballot Over!!!
State Proposition to protect citizens from discrimination – We recommend – VOTE YES!
Town Proposition to own/operate a Public Library – We recommend – VOTE NO!
Vote Early
-You may vote at ANY of the following locations on ANY of the following dates. Once you
arrive, the workers will ask you what town you are from and will print you the correct ballot.
