The April meeting of the Union Vale Democratic Committee will feature two candidates for countywide office.

• Kenya Gadsden is running for County Clerk. An experienced administrator and, resident of Fishkill, Ms. Gadsden has generated a lot of excitement about her candidacy. At the time of her endorsement by the Dutchess County Democratic Committee (DCDC), Ms. Gadsden said, “I’ve worked tirelessly for the past 25 years in the nonprofit world, serving adults with intellectual disabilities, and am ready to work just as fully to improve County operations so we can move forward together.”
• Joe Ruggiero, who has served as Town of Wappinger Supervisor, NYS Deputy Comptroller, and Executive Director of the NYS Bridge Authority, is running for County Executive.

Please come to our April meeting, and bring along another Democrat. This meeting will be a great opportunity to talk with these candidates about our concerns, and to hear their plans for our county.
